Tears
Of joy(*), of sorrow, and of spring.

Well I told you that I would tell you about the eclipse, and about the sufis, but I didn't say when, right? :) I said that because I have more pictures from both, and when they "call" to me, they'll come. So here I go with something else.

This following image was taken in an early morning hour from behind the window of the little wooden .. sort of bungalow that we stayed in Olympos, Antalya. I just love this photo. I wanted to match it with something .. happy, you know, about spring, and how dew beautifully takes over the spring months (well, also what a dewpoint is), but ended up with this tear link. I mean, when you have plenty of tears in your eyes, and you actually feel like crying, the world looks like this, doesn't it? A bit cold, a bit warm, quite beautiful, but also strangely distant.

Beautiful. Calm. Peaceful. Quiescent. Imperturbable.
(okay, okay.. you can have the dictionary back *pouts*)

(*)William Blake on the subject:

"I feel that a man may be happy in This World. And I know that This World is a World of Imagination & Vision. I see Every thing I paint in This world, but Every body does not see alike. To the Eyes of a Miser a Guinea is far more beautiful than the Sun, & a bag worn with the use of Money has more beautiful proportions than a Vine filled with Grapes. The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the Eyes of others only a Green thing which stands in the way. Some see Nature all Ridicule & Deformity, and by these I shall not regulate my proportions; & some scarce see Nature at all. But to the Eyes of the Man of Imagination, Nature is Imagination itself. As a man is, so he sees. As the Eye is formed, such are its Powers."
